Here’s a little about me.

My name is James Hickman, I am an Account Director for a fantastic PR and sponsorship agency in Leeds, called Hatch Communications.

I am, or was, the littlest hobo of the public relations world. I have been fortunate enough to work with a bunch of fantastic people at a number of great agencies, scattered across the Midlands and Yorkshire, including, to name a few, Willoughby PR, Paskett PR and the late great Ptarmigan Consultants.

I have too many client a stories and refer far too often to various jobs I have had. Which I know everyone hates.

I was born in Wolverhampton, but moved to Nottingham (Crime Capital of the UK™) when I was about seven, and now reside in sunny Leeds.

My greatest achievement to date is losing my Yam Yam accent.

I decided to start my own blog, as I feel my opinions were probably not entirely that of Hatch Communications, and to be fair posting random tat on the company blog was not what it was intended for. But in my defence that’s what happens when you let me build the site and be the administrator.

So just to confirm, this is my personal blog and the opinions I express represent my personal views and opinions and not those of Hatch Communications.

Why I Am Nameless? Well, it comes from my freelance days. I thought it was a witty stab at irony as a freelancer. I’m still paying for it. So I’m keeping it

Pigeons, People in ill fitting suits, All Big Brother contestants application videos, rain, getting friends requests on Facebook from people who you went to school with who dont actually know you, People with no common sense
